St. Francis

I have to tell you about my new favorite restaurant St.Francis. Located in a historic building on Camelback Road, just east of Central in uptown Phoenix, the family-owned, family-built and family-run restaurant welcomes families, couples and special occasions. I went there this week for a celebration for a great friend, who has also been telling me about this place for a while, and how I would love it. Boy, was she right! To me it's one of the most beautifully-designed dining space in Phoenix. The food was delicious with very fresh ingredients. The prices were also very reasonable. It has a style and sophistication vibe, with a toss of casual cool. Happy Hour is from 3-6. I can't wait to go back. 

Thought it was cool showing a Julia Child cooking episode  outside on the patio.

Poor Little Rich Girl

Have you been to Poor Little Rich Girl yet?  If your not familiar with this great little gem, it is an Upscale Resale boutique specializing in high end items and locally made pieces! Cat the owner (who is a sweet heart) has two locations, one in Arcadia on Indian School Rd. and 16th street and Bethany Home. I love how  successful she is at creating enviroment for Women to Shop Resale with Style. I just picked up the cutest shirt by one of favorite labels today. Head on over and get shopping! It's definitely worth a visit!

Early Morning At The Simple Farm

As some of you have already seen from a previous post on The Simple Farm, I wanted to share again some more pictures of our mornings at the farm. Yes, it is hot...but we all seem to make it there every Wednesday morning with smiles on our faces and willingness in our hearts. Maybe for me it's  seeing the miracle of drawing food from the earth, using little more than a tiny seed and a bit of effort that captivated me from the very beginning. You know what they say...gardening is good for the soul.  The weather is finally starting to heat up in our neck of the woods, or should I say desert... it means we're officially spending all of our free time trying to head to the beach or lounging poolside! This month is beach time for me and my family and I can't wait! If you plan on spending a good amount of time at the beach this summer, it's always a smart idea to have a functional-yet-stylish tote on hand. This is cute one!
